Plant Sale

ARS2022 will offer a large sales area with an extensive selection of hundreds of plants–both rhododendrons and companion plants–from a variety of vendors, including:

Book Sale

In the Plant Sale room, there will be a Book Sale of some very special volumes accumulated from several sources including the Van Veen Heritage Garden Library and a generous donation from Herb Spady and from the ARS Willamette Chapter from Jason Ashford and from Herb Spady and Dr. Bruce Duffy.

One feature of the book sale will be the availability of a new release called The Eighth Wonder of the World, Exbury Gardens and the Rothschilds by our featured speaker, Lionel de Rothschild, and Francesca Murray Rowlins. Proceeds benefit the Exbury Gardens Trust for the “maintenance, improvement, development and preservation for the public benefit and the opening to the public of Exbury Gardens in Hampshire.”

Please note: We regret to inform our international participants that there will not be a plant inspector available to provide phytosanitary certificates for plants to be transported across international boundaries. We can report, however, that the Mt. Vernon USDA inspection station makes appointments to issue phytosanitary certificates. Public Sale: In order to participate in any Convention activity, including the plant sale, you must be registered for the Convention.  Convention registration is open to the public.  The only exception is the Plant Sale which will also be open to unregistered members and the general public on Sunday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
